Use this discussion sample as a guide when completing your own analysis.Begin by introducing yourself to the class and explaining your background.Throughout this course, we will use the discussion topic in each module to work on the final project in a step-by-step manner. This gives you the opportunity to get feedback from your instructor and your peers while you work. Due to the nature of these discussion assignments, they are weighted more heavily than a typical course discussion and you will spend a majority of your time engaging in this topic. Before we begin, you might want to complete the final project review for this module. Post any questions you have in the General Questions topic. In this first discussion, you will choose a country, other than the USA or Turkey, that you would like to focus on for your final project, and work on the following critical elements: Rationale, Location, and Country Composition.Share your country choice for the final project and the reasoning behind this decision. Next, visit the World Atlas and The World Factbook to begin collecting important geographic and demographic information on the region.Share a map of the country in the discussion and identify the following elements:Regional locationWater accessBordering countriesNatural hazards or climateIdentify the following elements of the country:Literacy rateRate of urbanizationHeavily populated citiesMajor religionsEducational dataAge structureAddress the following questions based on your findings:What opportunities do you see from this information? What considerations would impact shipping, labor, or other operations? Are there any risks?just need this part done below here :Respond to two of your classmates by sharing your own observations on their chosen countries and asking questions to encourage other considerations.Once you have received feedback from your peers and instructor, you will insert your data and summarize your analysis findings in the Final Project Presentation Template provided. A Final Project Guide is provided to offer some ideas on how you might present your information. This is your first step toward the comprehensive final project presentation. Your first final project checkpoint submission will be in Module Three.Note: You will not be able to see any of your peers’ discussion posts until you have created and posted your own discussion thread.

Response to mark m
The country I chose to study is Poland. Both of my great-grandparents
on my moms side were from Poland, and I wanted to choose a country
that has some family ties.

Has a reputation as a “business friendly” country

Response to shelby
My name is Shelby, I am pursing my degree in Business Admiration. I have my AAS in Human Services
from Kaplan University. I am a single mom with a 9-month-old son.
I chose Jamaica because I vacationed there in elementary school. The island is covered in tropical plants.
It is surrounded by the Caribbean Sea with a few mountain ranges in the middle of the island.
Regional location: Caribbean, off the coast of Florida.
Water Access: Island is surrounded by water with many rivers leading to the sea
Bordering countries: None
Natural hazards or climate: Hurricanes and volcanoes, with tropical weather patterns
Literacy rate: 80%
Rate of urbanization: .82% annually, and 56% total population
Heavily populated cities: Kingston
Educational data: 5.4% of GDP
Age Structure: 0-14 (26%), 15-24 (18%), 25-54 (38%), 55-64 (9%), 65+ (8%)
They have a lot of tourism opportunities being a part of the Caribbean island. With a lot of port access,
they have a lot of opportunity for import and exports. Weather is there biggest hurdle. With the tropical
rains and risk of hurricanes. This could cause interruptions with shipping and labor. With Jamaica being a
third world country, the labor force has had it struggles. Unemployment at 28% in 2017.
INT 113 Module One Discussion Sample: Country Composition and Geography
Follow the format of this post to complete your own analysis. You will use some of the same resources cited in the
references, so follow the same citation format.
The country I have chosen for the final project is Turkey. I visited Turkey several years ago and really enjoyed my time
meeting the locals and visiting historical sites, like Ephesus. There has been a lot of talk about the growth Turkey has
seen in more recent years, which has piqued my interest in regard to investment.

Business observations:
The geographic location allows for easy access to both Europe and Asia.
The water access allows for easy shipping options as well.
Due to the proximity to certain regions that have political unrest, there would be some risks involved with heavy
investments to the region.
The age structure indicates a strong labor force with the majority of the population being in that working age
category (15–54). The majority of the population can read and write as well, which is promising for training
purposes.
Istanbul has the largest population and easy access to other parts of Europe.
